Normative has one of the largest database (Taxonomy) used in carbon accounting within the GHG protocol. However the current solution was not intuitive for the end user which required extensive support for the customers to navigate effectively.
I implemented a new solution using conversational AI that transformed complex taxonomy searches into natural language interactions, allowing the users to find the appropriate emission factors without support.
This saved the company and customers large amounts of consulting hours, and opened up the the taxonomy for the customers to use and understand in a more natural way.
